Woman Wins $10 Million Dollar Lottery Nine Years Ago, But Is Now Broke and Catching The Bus To Work
Nine years after cashing in a lottery check for more than $10 million, one 35-year old woman from Canada, Sharon Tirabassi, is broke and is catching the bus to her part-time job. She's a mom who is now working to support her kids in their rented house, but what happened to all her money??
Well, unfortunately, the lottery winnings did not come with a financial advisor, and Sharon went on spending binges that literally ate all her money up. As a person who spent years bouncing around from shelter to shelter, she was totally unprepared for the millionaire lifestyle.
She took friends on wild, all-expenses paid trips to Mexico, the Caribbean Islands, Florida, Las Vegas, and more. She gave $1 million to her parents, $1.75 million to her siblings, paid her friends' rent, bought a $515,000 house, and even bought 4 cars - a Hummer, a Mustang, a Dodge Charger and a $200,000-plus, customized Cadillac Escalade.
Apparently, she did everything but budget and save.
