Black Intern, Who Volunteered To Help George Zimmerman's Defense Team, Speaks Out
34-year old Channa Lloyd is an African-American intern who volunteered to assist George Zimmerman’s attorneys throughout the trial. Her presence at the defense table in the court room had many questioning why she would be supporting Zimmerman (and not Trayvon Martin) during this racially-charged case.
Lloyd, who is in her third-year of law school in Orlando, Florida, was recently interviewed by CNN. During the interview, she revealed that before accepting the position, she asked Zimmerman's attorneys if he was racist.
