Actress Raven Symone Confirms She's Gay; Thanks Government Now That She Can Get Married
Actress Raven Symone recently confirmed her sexual preference as she celebrated the legalization of same-sex marriage when she tweeted "I can finally get married." That message has since been retweeted thousands of times, and many are sending her messages of support and admiration.
Symone, 27, had been rumored to be gay, but had never publicly confirmed it. She did, however, make this statement once via her Twitter account: "My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life."
She also recently told E! News: "I am very happy that gay marriage is opening up around the country and is being accepted. I was excited to hear today that more states legalized gay marriage. I, however am not currently getting married, but it is great to know I can now, should I wish to."
