Wendy Williams Slams Chris Brown For Calling Out Jay Z in Jet Magazine
Wendy Williams reportedly went off on Chris Brown on her morning talk show after he claimed, during a recent Jet Magazine interview, that Jay-Z was one of the few black artists who gets a pass from White America. During the interview, Chris seem to imply that racism is to blame for his poor portrayal in the media.
"This is something I’ve been dealing with for the past maybe five years," he said. "Anybody with a voice - Tupac, Michael Jackson, the Notorious B.I.G. - gets formatted. Except maybe Jay Z, who is accepted by white America because he shakes hands and kisses babies." He added, "No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that he stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass."
Wendy responded: “You are less than smart for trying to blame Jay-Z. You need to blame yourself, young man. You’re a woman beater, you’re disrespectful, you threw a chair out of the window of ‘Good Morning America’... whatever happened to that cute young man that used to dance for Doublemint gum?”
She also said that she knows young men have to grow up but instead, Chris became a disrespectful “junkie.”
“A boy grows into a man, but you look like a junkie,” she said. “You’ve got those nasty tattoos, you’re way too skinny. You don’t seem to have respect for much at all. You beat the stew out of Rihanna and you’re with that Koochie Crayon right now.”
As if that wasn’t enough, Wendy even explained that while Jay-Z is very conscious of his image, it helps that he is married to a woman who is respected by many people, as opposed to a Rihanna or Karrueche.
