President Obama Helps Pregnant Diabetic Woman Who Nearly Faints During His Speech
President Obama recently helped a pregnant and diabetic woman who nearly fainted during one of his health care speeches at the White House. Obama noticed the woman getting weak in the background, stop his speech, caught the woman, and said, "There you go, you are OK. I'm right here. I got you..."
He then said jokingly to the crowd, "This happens when I talk too long."
The woman, identified as Karmel Allison, later tweeted: "I'm ok world -- just got a little lightheaded. Thanks @BarackObama for catching me!" She added: "And good thing this pregnant diabetic is pregnant :)"
