"Moesha" Star Faces Prison Time for Allegedly Kicking His Girlfriend
27-year old actor Marcus T. Paulk, star of the 90's TV show "Moesha," has been charged with domestic violence for allegedly kicking his girlfriend in the stomach. His girlfriend was taken to the hospital for minor injuries, and now Paulk is facing up to four years in prison.
According to the girlfriend, the two got into a verbal altercation, which later escalated toward violence when he allegedly punched her in the face and kicked her in her stomach. She admits that she also threw punches at him.
The actor has now formally been charged with domestic violence and battery, and has been officially welcomed to the club of celebrities who commit crimes.
Paulk is best known for his role as Myles Mitchell in the UPN sitcom "Moesha", which aired from 1996 through 2001. He also appeared with Bow Wow in the 2005 film Roll Bounce, Another Cinderella Story as Dustin, and with Antonio Banderas in the 2006 film Take the Lead.
